Our responsibilities

Through a number of different sales teams, we promote our services to homes, small businesses and large multi-site organisations. So, depending on your skills, you could be talking energy with your neighbour or the Scottish Government.

Telesales Team (Falkirk)

Outbound: We call potential customers who have responded to our marketing campaigns. We inform them of our services, products, the savings available and the many benefits of being a ScottishPower customer. We also call previous customers, highlighting why they should return to ScottishPower.

Inbound: We handle calls from potential new customers who have responded to a marketing campaign or called our Customer Services Team. We also up-sell to existing customers who are enquiring about new products and cost savings, maximising retention by providing them with the most appropriate product.

Business Sales

Responsible for securing and account managing new business and large corporate customers, we’ve the scope to tailor products and tariffs to individual customer needs.

Major challenges

There’s no getting away from it, the price of energy is big news. And contrary to some stories you may read, we do bear the brunt of rising oil and gas prices which we’ve little or no control over. However we thrive on the challenge of providing competitive tariffs and high quality products and services to meet the different needs of different customers.
