We’re responsible for managing in excess of £1 billion of contracts and overseeing the selection of suppliers who provide everything from coal and gas to computers and office stationery. Supporting all procurement activities across ScottishPower businesses and the wider Iberdrola Group, we manage strong and robust tendering processes to ensure that the most commercially beneficial contracts are placed with suppliers.
As well as managing tenders and contracts, we work very closely with Group businesses and the Iberdrola Purchasing Team across a range of activities. Our responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, e-tendering processes, contract negotiations and supplier management for both ScottishPower and the wider Iberdrola Group.
We offer a wide range of quality careers at all levels across a variety of teams that focus on delivering commercially advantageous contracts to specific sectors within our businesses. We also actively encourage career progression and skill development across the different teams and the possibility of support to study for membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
Purchasing are predominately based in Bellshill however there are currently a few roles that are located at business locations across the UK.
