ScottishPower is all about people. In Human Resources (HR), we’re responsible for attracting, recruiting, developing, supporting and looking after the welfare of all of our 10,000 people.
We enable our businesses to grow and meet customer needs by helping people in hundreds of different roles to perform at their best. Working across all areas of the business with Consultants as part of a Business partnering model, we support Energy Wholesale, Energy Retail, Energy Networks and our Corporate Functions.

This is where we help the business to deliver change through organisational development, re-design initiatives and a range of projects covering such areas as change management, business structures and Iberdrola/ScottishPower Integration.

We provide fast and efficient processes and add value by looking at improvements, consolidation and key reporting/metrics.

The future success of our business relies on our ability to provide the right resourcing, talent and learning interventions. Working closely with our ScottishPower Development colleagues we’re responsible for such areas as Resourcing/Planning, Relations, Talent, Performance and Learning.

We offer a diverse range of careers within Centralised Support and specialist areas such as Employee Relations, Reward, HR Consultancy, Pensions and HR Strategy & Business Improvement. Roles include HR Support Administrator, Recruitment Advisor, Direct Advisors and Payroll Administrators.
Whilst the HR Team is predominately based at Bellshill, there may be a requirement to work at various ScottishPower locations throughout the UK.
