There’s much more to ScottishPower than first meets the eye.

At ScottishPower we recognise the importance of helping our people to enjoy a healthy work/life balance. This is why we’ve a number of key policies in place, many of which exceed our statutory obligations. These apply to all employees, however entitlements and salary may vary depending on length of service.
There are occasions when extra support is needed, especially when you’re trying to balance work and family commitments. So, we offer a range of leave options to suit different circumstances. Types of paid and unpaid leave include:
Our partnership with 'Busy Bees', the UK's largest provider of childcare vouchers helps over 200 parents at ScottishPower to save money on their childcare costs. This government backed scheme allows you to exchange up to £243 of your pre-tax monthly salary to receive the same amount in childcare vouchers. This will reduce your tax and national insurance contributions and save you up to £1196 a year (depending on your individual circumstances) on childcare costs.
Vouchers are exempt from tax and national insurance and both standard and higher rate tax payers can benefit.
